I went to Paris in February for three days and had an amazing time. Although it wasn’t my first time in the City of Love, there’s just something so beautifully magical about this city- I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it’s definitely a place worth visiting whether you’re a glutton, a history buff, or a shopaholic, or all of the above! A few weeks ago, the lovely team from Zomato kindly invited me to a blogger’s meet-up at Acciuga, an authentic Italian restaurant located on Kensington High Street which specialises in Ligurian and Genoese cuisine. I’m definitely not a morning person, but when I heard that the newly-opened Dishoom at King’s Cross was offering a 50% discount off all meals, I knew I had to seize the opportunity and finally try out their highly-lauded breakfasts. Whilst London has its fair share of fast-food burger and hot dog restaurants, you might be looking for something a little lighter when stomping across the city. Well, look no further, because Smack (the younger sister of Burger & Lobster and Goodman Restaurants) has scuttled its way to Marylebone, serving affordable lobster rolls, courgette fries and bisque!
I think I may have found my new favourite pizza joint in London… Homeslice!
I was recently lucky enough to be gifted a complimentary voucher from Zomato to visit MissChu, a delightful little Vietnamese tuck-shop located on Whitechapel High Street. With its fun take on traditional Vietnamese cuisine and unique atmosphere, it’s a definitely a good place to stop by if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat in East London!
