Recipe: Kimchi Fried Rice with Spam

Korean cuisine has continued to grow in popularity worldwide, and kimchi in particular has been labelled as one of the world’s top food trends in the coming year. Broadway Market, Hackney

The weather in London has been quite pitiful recently, but under no circumstances should that deter gluttons from venturing out of their warm homes in search of food.  Last weekend, I decided to go to Broadway Market- a place that has been on my hypothetical ‘bucket list’ for quite some time, and my experience there can be summed up in one sentence: I will definitely be back again soon!

Recipe: Mentaiko Spaghetti

Today I thought I’d share with you a recipe for mentaiko spaghetti, inspired by my trip to Tabibito this summer and adapted from this recipe. It’s the perfect winter warmer- creamy, decadent and a little bit spicy. I hope you’ll try it out if you have the chance!

P.S: Merry Christmas-hope you all have a happy, relaxing and food-filled day of festivities!

Review: Dishoom, King’s Cross

I’m definitely not a morning person, but when I heard that the newly-opened Dishoom at King’s Cross was offering a 50% discount off all meals, I knew I had to seize the opportunity and finally try out their highly-lauded breakfasts. After all, who doesn’t love a good deal? 🙂 I’ve visited once more since the deal, and can definitely say that it’s worth a visit even if you have to pay full price.
